Business Assumptions
The Proposer or company that is insuring the vehicle;
- Is the registered owner of the vehicle.
- Is the main user of the vehicle being insured.
- Are resident in the Republic of Ireland.
You and any driver that might drive the vehicle;
- Have never been refused insurance, renewal of insurance, had any special terms applied or had a policy cancelled by an insurer.
- Have never been disqualified from driving or had any endorsement imposed on yours or their driving licence?
- Have never been convicted of any motoring offence or non-motoring offence or have any prosecutions pending?
- Have no medical conditions, impairment or mental or physical disability that affects your ability to drive?
- Have no accident or claims (including windscreen claims), regardless of blame on any motor vehicle within the last 5 years regardless of any NCB protection that you might have had?
- Have received any penalty points in the last three years?
The Vehicle being insured;
- Will not be used for the carriage of toxic, corrosive, explosive or flammable goods.
- Will not be used in Airports.
- Will not be used for hire or reward or for the carriage of other people’s goods.
- Has not been modified in anyway and there is no rear seating except in the case of purpose-built crew cab vehicle.

- Is not a left hand drive vehicle or imported.
- If required by legislation, has been issued with a Certificate of Roadworthiness.
- The vehicle will not be used for courier, parcel delivery or fast food delivery.
- Will not be used to cook or sell food from for example ice cream Van or chipper Van.
- Has not been or in the process of being converted to a camper van.
